Our Roots
Movement Story Technology NPC is a youth-driven Non-Profit Company rooted in the heart of Loxton, Northern Cape. Founded in 2019 after the completion of the Young Artist Leadership Programme (YALP) at Forgotten Angle Theatre Collaborative, the organization was born from a bold vision: to bring opportunity, creativity, and purpose to youth in remote and rural areas.
What began as community dance and arts programming has since evolved into a dynamic hub for innovation, education, and empowerment—merging Arts, Tourism, and Technology to uplift the next generation of leaders.
Our founder’s journey includes an internship with Rand Merchant Bank through the FirstRand FirstJob Program, and completion of the FNB Risepreneur entrepreneurship development program. These experiences laid the foundation for a socially conscious and entrepreneurial approach to rural transformation.
Today, Movement Story Technology proudly serves as a host company for youth interns through NEASA, Duja Consulting, and Tangible Africa, and with the support of Social Employment Fund (SEF). We equip young people with 21st-century skills from arts, technology to storytelling and sustainable tourism empowering them to create meaningful futures rooted in their own communities.
Our Vision
To revolutionize, facilitate and nurture into existence a unique, young introspective person driving the evolution of rural and remote spaces with new ways of thinking; contribute in skill enhancement, confidence-building, and ownership through Arts, Tourism, and Technology in remote/rural areas.
Our mission
To awaken the potential of rural youth by blending creativity, culture, and technology gently guiding them to lead, innovate, and reimagine their communities through the power of Arts, Tourism, and Technology.
